At the time of this review was written: Im at about 95% completion, Ive gotten all the treasures and only need to get the crystals for the last level in Shadow Temple. Havent completed any of the time trials yet.

Goblin Sword is a definite BUY for anyone who enjoys well made retro platformers that stays fresh and offers countless hours of gameplay for a great value.

What this game delivers:
-high quality pixel art
-fun & progressively challenging levels
-easy to learn, easy to master game mechanics
-no IAP whatsoever
-no ads
-insane amount of content ranging from weapons, armours, relics
-plenty of replay value
-free updates forever
-iCloud sync
-responsive controls that are also customizable

What this game doesnt have:
-a rich storyline
-multiplayer mode
-a complex adaptive AI, its the same oldschool type of enemy AI like NES platformers.
-changeable difficulty
-saving your position of where u died in a level, once u run out of hearts you have to start from the beginning
-no you cannot stomp on any enemies, this isnt Mario

Goblin Sword is definitely one of the hidden gems in the sea of mediocre games on the App Store.
