Nice looking game, incredibly boring.

It looks great, the music is nice, the controls are tight, but if you are looking for anything with a decent story, look else where. As much as I want to love this game, I cant seem to get over how boring it is, every level feels relatively the same, and no plot to keep me driven, it just feels empty. The charm of good music, great graphics and tight platforming controls arent enough to hold my attention. Games like these are a dime a dozen, so many like it. While I admit this one stands above others with its high production value, there isnt enough there to keep me wanting to play. Honestly, I might play it on and off for a while, but I dont see myself loving this game. The game throws you into it with some cheap clichéd line about some evil guy getting some sword, and he wants to control the earth or something, and youre the only one that can stop him. I shouldnt be so critical of a game this simplistic, but I wanted to get my thoughts out, thanks for reading.
